review 1: I really enjoyed this book in part, because I have travelled around Iceland extensively and love the country. Brooke is a girl from US whose bestie moves back to Iceland, this leads to becoming online friends with Ari from Iceland. They have a longstanding online friendship, flirtship and attraction. Brooke finally decides to travel to Iceland after a difficult break up but seeing each other for real is complicated. Some of the writing was a little blaze at times especially around Brooke's previous life traumas. Otherwise very enjoyable.
review 2: It is so easy to fall in love with Brook and Ari and cheer for them to find their happily ever after. Heather Sosbee has a youthful carefree style of writing that pulls you into the story quickly allowing you to feel... more and see what’s happening, not just read it. The wording choices and scenes are down to earth and relatable. You can become so involved that the characters emotions become your emotions. If I am ever fortunate enough to have the opportunity, I'd love to visit Iceland.I’m looking forward to reading more from Heather in the future! less
