review 1: This book series was actually surprising. If you have read some of my other reviews you might know how much I hate books that have only two books in a series. I tend to stay away from them because things happen to fast. This series was actually one of the first two book series I've liked. Although the plot line happened so fast especially in the second book.I thought the plot line was fast because Ellie and Michael learned how to kill fallen angels for over half the book, and killed them in less than half the book. I'm not an author, but I would have taken less learning time and more killing the fallen angels time.On thing else that really annoyed me was Ellie and Michael's on-again-off-again relationship. They clearly loved each other so I don't understand why the author ... morehad to make them hate each other for most of the book. I really like paranormal romance books, and this one didn't have the spark I was looking for. But I still enjoyed reading it.Overall it was a really good book series. It only took me 2 days to read both books. So you know it must have been good.
review 2: I like this because Ellspeth and Michael really fulfilled their tasks as the "Elect One" and "The Knight", respectively. They fought the fallen angels for the sake not only of the people they love but also for the sake of everyone else in the planet. However, the story is skimpy and the fighting scenes are not elaborated well. It would be very nice if the 3 remaining fights would be in another book. Nevertheless, the book is a success.
