review 1: I really liked Kate in the first book, but she turns into a whiny, immature jerk in the sequel, and I had a hard time sympathizing with her.I have issues with characters who cheat. I don't understand why Kate would throw away a great relationship with an amazing boyfriend who cares about and respects her, for a psycho stalker druggie loser who makes his living profiting off of other people's tragedies. I really hoped she would make better decisions, but she repeatedly self-sabotages herself, and it is difficult to feel bad for her when she is 100% responsible for her behavior and the situation she finds herself in. It is a shame, because I had high hopes for this series after reading the first book, but I don't know if I'll be looking out for the next one. I'm really b... moreummed at how the last 25% of this book turned out.
review 2: Wow, I really had a hard time putting this book down and I read a lot of books! The second book in the 'Second Sight' series, Heather pens "New Revelations" a suspenseful, supernatural romance with a plot that flows nicely and characters that are believable and realistic. This is one book that will capture your attention and not let go until your finished, but beware there is a cliffhanger at the end. I can't wait for the third in the series to come out!
