review 1: This series ends up with a 3.5 stars from me. I wish I had read the 5 episodes over a shorter time frame--it may have resulted in a higher rating. I did not, however, enjoy the series enough to give it a second chance, rereading them all in quick succession.Also, I have to admit that although I like Satish, in my heart of hearts, I wish Carson and James had cleared the air much earlier in their relationship. I think there was a time when Carson could have given James everything he needed--been everything for him. Just wish they'd had that chance.
review 2: So - this was the last part of "The Professor's Rule" and here it comes:Dear authors - maybe there are readers out there who love to read stories in pieces - I'm not one of them. I hate this new trend of publ... moreishing small arcs when all together would have been a good and solid book, a book where the reader can get to know the characters, get to see the deveoplment IN ONE PIECE. I'm lucky that I started reading the stories shortly before the last two parts had been released. I wouldn't have read them otherwise, I fear. But now to the story itself. I liked it.. I really liked when finally Carson's facade cracked. I even liked the slightly rose colored end. And so - despite I seldom read serialized novellas - yes, I still hate this partial releasing - it's still a close to 4 stars. less
