review 1: Between the Cracks by Helena HuntingThis short story packs massive punches and brings the lives of the supporting characters of Chris and Sarah to the forefront. This is told from Chris’ point of view and continues on where Clipped Wings ends. He’s currently in the eye of the storm following Tenley’s departure, his friend Hayden has gone off in chase but hits a road block when his car is impounded. He has to leave the woman he’s been pursuing to help Hayden out. Seeing his friend completely shattered leaves an impressive mark on Chris and he desperately wants to help them reunite as well as get home to his blossoming relationship with Sarah.I was laughing out loud at the writing style, Ms Hunting writes dialogue like I speak. The characters are interesting with the... more right amount of drama and tension. I have really fallen in love with this series. This little entrée will lead nicely into the next novel length book Inked Armour. Just waiting on it to arrive in my mailbox.I bought this novella with my own money.Karen @karensbookhaven
review 2: This is a shorty story, about 50 pages, that picks up part of where Tenley left and Hayden goes after her. But he runs into a problem and calls Chris, a fellow tattoo artist. This story is from Chris' POV and a little of his time with Sarah. I have loved everything about this series and can't wait to start Inked Armor. If you like a great story with sexy tattooed men, then you need to read this series. It is worth the time and you will love it. less
