review 1: Augh it's that line! Dear shoujo writers, whenever the hero reminds the heroine that she's 'still a girl' before running off to save the day I do not swoon at the romance of it all. I want to kick him for being a patronizing sexist ass. >( That goes double when he combines it with a sexually threatening posture (because remember, you're still a ~girl~ and that means vulnerable, are you still aware of that?)Books like these make me appreciate Revolutionary Girl Utena all the more. Oh sweet Utena where a girl could be a prince without her 'love interest' reminding her of her place. Where flirting with ladies translated to actually dating one. I never knew how good we had it till you were gone. 3 stars
review 2: This is about school festival in their school. The b... moreoys made a suggestion to have a "Rock-Paper-Scissor tournament" for the festival but the President thought it was a stupid idea and rejected them - she wanted to hold an unforgettable festival that everyone who came would enjoy and also to improve their school reputation. The girls made a suggestion that they would like to have a "cafe" where they would turn into a "maid-waitress" and serve the customers and without doubt, the President agreed. That made the boys pissed off and they even asked Usui to persuade the President.During the festival, the girls including the President became a "maid-waitress" and unknowingly, on the other side, the boys made a "cosplay cafe". The president was a bit mad about the idea where they dressed as "cosplay" and held a "cafe" without her approval. The boys fought back, saying that they would not listen to her and dislike her treatment toward them. less
