review 1: I knew there was more to Nathan then he was letting on but movie star was not what I expected. Jordie was a riot and her sense of humor and determination to do it all had me laughing. These two fell hard and fast, it was too good to be true. Between the paparazzi and Jordie's stalker thing turn sideways. Through it all they maintain a close group of people and family that make things seem worth all the trouble.
review 2: * ARC provided by the author for an honest review * Finding Jordie by H.J. Harley is truly an amazingly written love story with a unique chain of events. It's a book that grabs you from page one and doesn't release you until the last page. Once released you are wanting more. This story takes you through the life of the main character Jordan (J... moreordie) Spagnato told from her POV. The whirlwind of emotions you feel through this book make you feel like you are there with them watching everything unfold. The friendships, the families, the story of losing love then thinking you found forever, the past reappearing, then questioning if it was forever.It will have you laughing, crying, talking to yourself and continuing on hoping for that happy ending. It definitely surprises you with some twist and turns that you don't expect. Like I said nothing less than amazing. Jordan (Jordie) Spagnato she doesn't have the model perfect body by society standards but who cares what they think. She is the whole package with a heart of gold, strength of a thousand, and the love as strong as any rope that binds you. When Jordie love's she love's fully right or wrong. She has faced some tough situations but that has only made her that much stronger and pulled me in that much more. The strength she carries by picking herself up, brushing herself off and moving on with life is truly inspiring. I love this character! Jordie is a single mother whose life is her daughter Emma, her bar family (Rachel her best friend for 13 years, Mike, & Carlos), her sister Kelly, and her business that is a happening nightspot in New York City. One night is all it changes with a gorgeous, blue-eyed guy named Nathan (Nate) Harper. "HOLLER"Nathan (Nate) Harper is a blue-eyed beauty who is rich, an actor who is a true gentleman who sweeps Jordie off her feet and shows her a side of life she wasn't expecting, and a love she wasn't looking for. This love story started with almost a bar brawl. Who would have thought that one night of craziness would have led to so much more? Brought two halves of a whole together who weren't even expecting it. They both have past that they are working to get through together. They fall into a routine, but can it be that easy and perfect? NO there’s a crazy turn of events that keeps you asking what's going to happen next. That's when the tragedy strikes, the past comes back in full flesh and turns their worlds upside down. Is their relationship strong enough to get them past this point or is the past too strong for them to stay together?This book isn't a cliffhanger.
