review 1: I'm finding it kind of difficult to form an overall judgement of this book. On one hand it was entertaining and definitely had me wanting to come back to read more. I found the style if writing easy to read and loved that I could just slip in to the book, which isn't something that I can always do, so I certainly appreciated that. I like Bree as a character but I didn't love her, but I'm not sure if I was supposed to or not. Some things she did or said were completely relatable and others I had a hard time connecting with. I really enjoyed her parents characters, which I'm thankful for. Holly Bourne did a great job of making them actual, real characters and my initial perceptions were slowly but surely changed. As for what I didn't like, I didn't find the plot all that ori... moreginal. I felt I'd kind of heard the story before and I wasn't hugely interested in the school drama. I was slightly uncomfortable with some aspects of the romance. I also found some plot points a bit unfeasible - like would Bree really have that intimately about her life on her blog? Maybe some people would, I just probably wouldn't. Although I did like how it tied up at the end, and I did appreciate the overall message of the book. Overall I did really enjoy the book. I enjoyed reading UK YA - being a British 18 year old, I definitely appreciated a lot of the references. I would definitely like to read Holly Bourne's first book 'Soulmates' and look forward to reading anything new she writes.
review 2: I was thinking it will be just another "student want's the teacher" kind of story, but in the end it wasn't really. I enjoyed reading through the story quite a lot, the style is AMAZING! The book cover looks nice to and excessive red is not annoying at all, stylish even. I would really be interested in really reading something else by the same author. Writers voice is very interesting and expressively different, really pull's you in to the story quickly and you don't want to live. less

I quite enjoyed it, though I thought it would be just another YA read... It's surprisingly good.
