review 1: it is a really well researched and well thought out book. a great crash course in world history. one can certainly have objections to certain claims made by the author. historical facts are hard enough to agree upon. diagnosing them is even harder. given that, it is easy to poke holes in a lot of what the author says ( especially about the future). however, it is still a very well put forward argument and a great read overall
review 2: Excellent analysis of historical facts from very early ages until twenty first century (even some predictions of the future) that eventually sums up the background for West dominance in the last two chapters.
