review 1: I saw this in my local comic shop and instantly knew I most own a copy. I've been a big fan of Glenn Danzig and Henry Rollins my entire life and just knowing this book exists is enough to give it four stars. The concept is simple: Henry and Glenn are friends (more than). They are room mates. Daryl and John (Hall and Oates) live next door. They are satanists. Every page is a quick comic or diary entry. The comics range in artistic styles but are completely hilarious and out of control. I want a shirt of the comic Henry and Glenn singing "Because yr kiss in on my list" with Daryl and John and Satan on drums. If you have a chance to read this book grab it and take a insane and insanely funny journey. It wont take long...seriously. Like half an ... morehour.
review 2: OMG, I just got a copy of this graphic novel (does it qualify as a graphic novel, or would this be a comic? I'm not sure, as I've read very little in this genre, but either way...), and it's HILARIOUS. Henry Rollins + Glenn Danzig + Hall & Oates as Satanists = Henry & Glenn Forever. If you've ever loved (or hated) any of these musicians, you need to grab a copy from Microcosm today. These little parody comics are priceless. less
