review 1: This is the third book from Ika Natassa that I read (after A Very Yuppy Wedding and Antologi Rasa). The characters and setting of those books are similar: a woman who is professional banker, has a perfect-and-listener-but-'asshole' kinda girl best friend, has a guy (not 'gay' ya) best friend who is a player, only wearing things with famous brands and living a high lifestyle, always be in a relationship or at least approached by any perfect image of a man. If you're Ika Natassa's books reader, you will notice:AVYW: Andrea, girl bestfriend: Tania, guy best friend: Firman, boy friend: Adjie.AR: Keara, girl bestfriend: Dinda, guy best friend: Harris, boy friend: Ruly/Panji (?).Divortiare: Alexandra, girl best friend: Wina, guy best friend: Ryan, boy friend: Beno/Denny (?).Ther... moree are so many dramas or coincidence or unrealistic conversations or too sweet line or whatever, yes that's why good man only exists in books. I can tolerate those nonsensical things because that's what chicklit or metropop kinda fiction is (or is it just me being cold-hearted). The writer wrote what the readers want to read -- romantic drama.Aside from that, this book is pretty much a page-turner. All of the books were finished just in a day (because I'm a jobless wasted woman lol -- let's just embrace it at least for now).I'm not expecting more characters in the next book (Twivortiare) because I know it'll be about Lexy and Beno. I also have to wait my sister to finish reading it.
review 2: his book is telling us about irony in a very ironic way. conveying an irony with another irony ironically ironic (damn! am I just saying irony again?)saya memang tidak banyak membaca. termasuk orang yang pemilih dalam membaca. buku ini termasuk salah satu yang saya sebut dengan buku-yang-bahkan-sampulnya-saja-tak-layak-dipajang. it was my super brilliant officemate (who happens to be my boss, my writing tutor, and friend at the same time) drag me this one-of-a-kind book.“Zan, mau baca nggak?Ini katanya buku bagus. I picture a very delicate woman with skinny body, cute smile, and super smooth hand gestures when reading her name.Saya nggak tahu buku ini judulnya apa. apakah ‘divortiare’ or ’323mg’? apapun judulnya, kedua kata itu aneh buat saya. apau pula artinya ‘divortiare’? terus apanya yang 323mg? tapi yang menarik adalah GENERAL WARNING di bawahnya: may cause prolonged delusion, hyper-romanticism, temporary insanity, insomnia, selective memory loss, spontaneous crying, uncontrollable giggles, changes in appetite, irresistible urge to write quotes, compulsive buying, unexplainable peace of mind.DAN SEMUA PERINGATAN ITU BENAR ADANYA. paling tidak cuma ada satu peringatan yang saya masih ragu: compulsive buying (karena Mbak TJ sudah beli semua buku-bukunya). hahaha!buku ini bercerita tentang perceraian tapi tidak ingin membuat kita bercerai. Nah! Gimana dah tuh?Bukunya FTV ? Emang! Bukunya kebanyakan pakai istilah bahasa inggris? Emang! Bukunya bikin ketagihan? EMANG! Semua paragraf yang ada di dalam buku ini itu perlu. Dibanding A Very Yuppy Wedding, Divortiare emang lebih bagus dan matang secara penulisan.Ika Natassa emang cerdas banget ya orangnya, kelihatan dari tulisannya kok.Aku suka sama dialog-dialognya yang ngalir, tek-toknya dapet, chemistry antar tokoh juga kuat banget.Di bagian narasi juga bikin kita mikir dan merenung.Hahaha pokoknya I really love this book, cuma agak kecewa sama endingnya. Gantung gitu, cuma ya dikasih kode kalau akhirnya Alexandra bakalan sama siapa.So, 4 stars.

Loved how the way the author tells a story. The storyline itself is predictable.
