review 1: "The Last Question" is a short story written half a century ago discussing the nature of entropy and the end of the universe. It is a quick read and very thought-provoking, which surprised me considering it had science-fiction elements that are still relevant in the genre today. The sense of powerlessness is repeated in each iteration of the question, leaving the readers with building suspense as the end drew near. The final sentence left me slightly confused, however, as I debated on whether it was hinting towards the religious significance of that exclamation.
review 2: It has been a while since I read something that made me think so deeply about life, religion and God. Written the simplest way you can imagine, this very short story written by Isaac Asimov is
... more phenomenal. It might leave you more confused or leave you more assured of who you are. I think it depends on every person experience and thought process. The scale of ideas presented in this short story is enormous that it can be studied as course on it's own in my opinion.Definitely recommend and you can find it easily online, just Google it. less
