F***ed-Up Fairytale
review 1: OMG! I absolutely loved this book. It is just what the title says, a f***ed up fairy tale. J.A. Kazimer nailed it with this book. I couldn't stop laughing out loud. I loved the cover of the book. Simple but represented the book well.RJ (rumple stiltskin) is a villain that has been cursed to only do good by the villain union. When one night he sits on a princess. (Asia)Asia asks RJ help her find out who murdered her sister Cinderella. And so begins this laugh out loud story. This is a must read for everyone.May not be ok for a younger audience. I give Curse's 5 out of 5 stars!
review 2: First I want to thank Sharon Belcastro for introducing me to this book for review! Next I want to say WOW J.A. Kazimer! WOW! I am use to the princess’s getting all the attention
... more but in this book J.A. Kazimer turns the tables as the “Not so ugly” Step-Sister’s known as Asia is determined to find the one responsible for murdering Cinderella! Now I know what you must be thinking…”SOMEONE KILLED CINDERELLA?!” But that is all part of the plot for J.A Kazimer’s story. In order to find the murderer Asia goes and seeks the help of none other than Inspector Holmes of Fairy Yard, but little does she know that instead of getting Holmes, she has gotten RJ (also known as Rumple Stiltskin!) a villain who actually stuffed Holmes into the chimney in his apartment! As their journey continues, we start to learn more about the curse that plagues RJ, doomed to do acts of kindness until the union says otherwise, and the one that Asia is hiding as well.Wow, this was just something else, the blurb for the book describes it perfectly! While I was reading, all I could think of was “Shrek for grown ups”. Ha! This book had me laughing from the beginning. It is a bit different from the books I have been reading lately which have been more suspense, action, romance all mixed into the paranormal, While this was more a humorous read and of course added the romance as well to old fairy tale stories we all know so well. I loved the interaction between RJ and Asia! It was classic, and let me say I loved the ending! That was priceless when RJ finds out the truth, and oh when they get their visitors. Ha! For those who have read the book you know exactly what I am talking about…and for those of you that haven’t then I suggest you go get yourselves a copy! ^_~It was definitely refreshing to get away from the books I have been reading lately, this is a book I quite think I could reread again in the future just when I need a break from my usual books. Some parts were funnier than others but it still had me laughing or giggling all the same. I thought this was really creative using fairy tale characters to portray a story made for more of the mature crowd. It was creative, fun and entertaining.4/5 Bats.~Marie from Paranormal Reads less
