review 1: Das war mal ein spannender Krimi. Die Geschichte war gut initiiert und so aufgebaut, dass man nicht sofort weiss wer der Moerder ist, aber auch nicht so verheddert, dass man die Lust am Lesen verliert. Ich konnte es teilweise kaum zur Seite legen und habe manchmal bis tief in die Nacht gelesen, bloss um an einem Punkt halt zu machen, wo ich guten Gewissens unterbrechen konnte, ohne das Gefuehl zu haben, dass ich was verpasse. Sehr zu empfehlen.
review 2: I thought this book offered a strong plotline but also a development of the main character/s of the series. I read the book in a day because I just couldn't put it down, not only for the whodunnit aspect but also for the connection between Carson Ryder and his brother Jeremy. I love that Ryder is distrubed and... more disgusted by his brother but at the same time he protects him. There were a number of plot twists which kept me guessing as to the outcome and left me wanting to get back to the book ASAP. less
