review 1: Dark Metropolis had an original idea and had interesting characters but it felt like something was missing. It didn't flow as well as it could have and needed more details. The author should have cut it off when they got underground and made everything X100 more detailed to make it a whole lot less rushed? It was a good book but not one of those "Wow, this is amazing. You have too read it!" kind of books. There wasn't all that much suspense and it didn't hold my attention like it should have. Like I said, great idea, just poorly written.
review 2: This was an interesting concept, but for me the storyline was all over the place and made it hard for me to follow at times. There were 3 different pov you had to follow and the description of the book was a bit dec
... moreeiving. It gives the impression that the book is mainly about Thea and Freddy when really it mainly focuses on Nan. This had some good elements in it with the zombie aspect, but overall this book didn't really work for me. less
