review 1: An inspiring book for young readers and gardeners that tells the story of Will Allen's vision and experiences in creating urban gardens. Included are a great list of resources and a note from Will and the author, Briggs Martin. The colorful art (done in ink, pen and marker with digitally scanned textures and objects) adds so much energy and interest. A must-have for school libraries and gardeners.

So much more about the gardening than about the man. Loved the illustrations and the information.
