review 1: I loved this book, it was my favourite in this series! I loved the concept of the story and its charaters. The main characters were strong, stubborn, grumpy and foul-mouthed but loving and caring as well. There were lots of laughs and at times hysterically funny but there were also plenty of tears. I liked the way the author wrote certain characters and the way she wrote them into the story and nothing is as it seems, very clever, I really liked it! This was definately my kind of shifter book, series and I could not put the book down! The only small negative I have is that when he was pushing her away with his hurtful words I would have liked her to say fine and walk away(temporarily) and let him realise what he said and get him off his butt to go after her! Otherwise it w... moreas perfect!!!
review 2: The Alpha's Daughter is a well-written paranormal romance with just the right combination love romance, trouble and sass, with a sprinkling of well-meaning lovable neighbors thrown in. Jacqueline Rhoades does a excellent job of allowing the friendship of Jazz and Doc unfold turning into love as the story progresses. Unlike the previous two books in this series, this one I found myself the most emotional over. My emotions ran the gambit from tears of laughter to tears of sorrow. I love the sparring between Jazz and Doc. Two equally stubborn people the perfect match for each other. The “bumping uglies” parts were definitely steamy. However, it was the interactions between all the characters that I truly loved. Each one had a special little story and, thankfully, the author took the time to introduce all of them without burying me in the boring details. Although, I would have loved to have found out the twins secret.I’m actually very sad to see this series end. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of each book. Ms. Rhoades has created a wonderful paranormal romance series that anyone who likes shifters will enjoy. Each book in this series touches on the MC from all the other books but each book works well as a stand-alone although I suggest reading them all.I received this book from JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.Stars – 5, Flames - 3 less
