review 1: I loved this book! It had great characters and plot. Beth is wonderful : prof by day, erotic writer by night so to speak. She has Ridley, her pretend boyfriend, to help her play out sexual scenes for her books. Beth develops feelings for him but she sadly he doesn't feel the same. She turns to her best friend Roman for advice and is shocked that he wants to be her substitute pretend boyfriend. The interaction the two of them is smoking hot. They don't just have chemistry in the bedroom (or kitchen), but out of it as well. I laughed when Ridley came crawling back and Beth rejected him. His reaction was priceless! Pick up a copy now and find out how the story plays out.
review 2: holy hotness..this book is sex on a stick!! let's start with Beth.. an English prof
... moreessor/romance author.... now what's an author to do for inspiration for realistic sex scenes??? well pretty simple really... hit a bar.. and find sex on a stick! oh yeah... have him agree to act or scenes for your book...instant "Pretend Boyfriend" sounds perfect to me!! how about you?? Now that would serve it's purpose for a good while right?? what happens when the shiny newness wears off... enter stage right... "Substitute Boyfriend" and even more hot hot HOT Sex on a Stick...then add a twist that made my tummy clench and a gasp to escape... and then....Lol... thought I would tell you??!! Lol. Nope!!! read it!! less

Read as part of an anthology. I loved the story and characters - especially Roman.
