review 1: This was just an okay read for me. Though I love the fact that it had a bit to do with horses and I love horses. It took quite a bit of time to really get the story going, but I stayed with it and finished the book. I did get a tad confused throughout the middle and the ending left me with more questions than answers. Not a horrible read and I would read the second installment just to see where the story goes, but not one of my favorite or best reads.
review 2: Brilliant! I loved this book from talented new author, Jadie Jones. It's different from the other YA/horse/romance books I've read lately, and I enjoyed it tremendously. There's paranormal and fantasy elements, mystery, and my favorite, horses and romance! The writing is beautiful in this book, the ... moredescriptions the author uses are vivid and really stand out in your mind. There were a few comments from other readers who stated they thought the ending was somewhat confusing. I didn't find this a problem, I was so tuned in to finding out what would happen next! I can't wait for book two! less
