review 1: An engaging read with a brilliant premise. Bill Warrington decides to run off with his granddaughter in an attempt to get his children, who have lost touch with him and each other to varying degrees, together before his memory and mental capacities are completely taken over by rapidly progressing Alzheimer's. In the process, we get a view of the lives and trials of the Warrington family and the various relationships they have to each other and themselves.
review 2: I recommend this book as a quick read that I genuinely enjoyed. As I do with most of my Book Club selections, this too did I go in with no clue what it was about. However, with this one I quickly found myself half way through with a month to go until the meeting. Our monthly meeting just finished up,
