Josie Prescott Antiques Mystery

review 1: I started reading this series in order, so this is my fourth book by this author. I really like the information and story lines on the antiques; however, my verdict is still out on Josie, the main character. In some books, I really like her; in this book, not so much. Toward the end of this story, I stared losing interest in the "who done it" and just wanted it to be over. The mystery was complicated, but not in a good way. I'll keep reading the series, but I hope the next one is a little more believable.
review 2: This is the book in this series I have been waiting for. Finally we find out the background and the reason for the secretive life that Gretchen seems to lead.When Gretchen doesn't show up after a vacation Josie can't stand it so she goes to Gre... moretchen's apartment to see if something is wrong. Something is wrong all right, there is a dead man in the apartment and there is no sign of Gretchen.Woven around a couple of interesting stories about antiques this is mostly a story about women on the run, and why.I found it fascinating in certain respects and horrifying in others.Can't wait to read the next in the series. less
