review 1: I was going through piles of free ebooks I'd received when this title caught my eye. The synopsis and the cute title had me loading it onto my ereader and reading it right away.I was SO disappointed.1) Jame is a horrible human being. He leaves her, pregnant, as a teenager and then just worms his way back in to her life years later showing very few signs of remorse.2)It reeks of unbelievability to me. We have two young, but grown and moved out, daughters who have lost their dad a mere 5 years previous and then, six months after knowing Jame, are calling him Dad? Nope. Wouldn't happen. Doesn't matter how much they like him. That's weird. Also, the pursuing the adopted boy after he's said no. So illegal and so rude and intrusive. 3) It's written like it's being written to a c... morehild. Grammar mistakes are everywhere and the basic voice of the story is childish. I hate slamming books. I don't do it often. But this one? Shouldn't have been published.
review 2: So this was one of the MOST emotional books I think I have ever read, I was bawling durign the end and in tears soaking my face and snot never ceasing. This was a emotional, soul quenching, tearjerker of a book. Just thinking of it makes me want to cry again. It was a good story, frustrating and sad, but good... I usually HATE stories liek this, that dont end the way I quite want, but i have to say I did love this book. it made me crawl in bed and cuddle up to my husband wanting to hold onto him for forever, then the tears started again... this book to me on such an emotional journey and got the screws turning in my head about how to cherish everyday with your family and those you love... whew... emotionally exsausted after this one!! less
