review 1: Well...like many Goodreaders I've come to notice, I'm not the first to think "this wasn't what I expected." While the chapters were short, which is what I enjoy, by short I mean extremely. This is enough to tell you that the memoir did not divulge enough (i.m.o). Most were reading this for the walk down 90210 memory lane... and some juice but this didn't offer that as much as I'd expected. I do have to mention that I easily could pick up the Canadian in him plus he mentioned a lot of influences from the north throughout his life. I enjoyed and recognized a lot of that mentioned, refreshing as any celebrity memiors talk about places I only imagine. Whether it was the 80's in L.A. rooming with Brad Pitt, or a movie set somewhere you and I may have never been with Kurt Rus... moresell, Priestley did a lot of name dropping but set the scene well with limited description. That's what carried this book through, was even though it didn't give the average BH fan that content they may have wanted...it read swiftly but gave brief insight & showed his wisdom develop as he described events. You take what you can get.I wasn't able to hop on the 90210 wave when it was on air because it wasn't quite in my generation but the fact I read this little book gives me insight, after the fact, just how much of an effect it did to others. He saw an opportunity to write this and hey, why not?l
review 2: If you watched the series 90210 in the 90's, then you will like this book. I really enjoyed reading this one, and it was a very fast read. Jason talks about his castmates of 90210, and various incidents that happened in his life. I didn't realize how serious his car crash was, until I read this book. I thought it strange that Tori Spelling's husband, Dean McDermott, wouldn't shake his hand upon meeting for the first time, and Tori Spelling sold Jason Priestley's wedding invitation for $5.00 at her garage sale. less

This was an alright read. Pretty dry. I was kinda hoping for my details but no such luck.

Another hum drum bio from a forgotten star. I was disappointed in the content.
