review 1: this is book 2 and it's just as great as Blyss Jules is learning to adjust to your life that she has been dragged into always trying to outwit her enemy only to get caught and pays the price, but Travis comes and rescues her and tries to show and express his love for her. while on the run when you think your safe your enemy sneaks up on you and that's just what happens Nick shows up. this book has some hot sex, so much compassion shown to the one you love. a must read patiently waiting for book 3
review 2: 4.5 STARSKnowing she's been abandoned by Travis, Julianna's only plan is to survive whatever Nick has in store for her until she can find a way to escape. His volatile personality has her walking on egg shells every moment she's in his presence. While he trea
... morets her like a princess to start with, he soon discovers she has fooled him and her acting skills can no longer cover her betrayal. She quickly learns that gentle, kind Nick is gone and heartless, savage Nick has returned. Refusing to be broken she tries to play him at his own game and pays the ultimate price. When Travis discovers what Nick has done he can no longer ignore his feelings for Julianna and makes a move to keep her safe. Thanks to an unfortunate accident, Travis gets a second chance to prove himself worthy to Julianna. Abandoning everything and everyone he's ever known he plans out his future and what he needs to do to keep Julianna out of Nick's grasp. The story kept me entranced the whole way through. The beginning with Nick was raw and made me feel a little sick when she pushed his buttons and his anger was awakened. Nick is still a bit of an enigma as we don't know his full history and what his agenda is but you realise he will do anything to make Julianna understand he owns her.The relationship that evolves between Nick & Julianna had me swooning and lusting after Travis more than the first book. With a suspense and action element thrown in to book #2, the story was fast paced and exciting, with the ending leaving me gasping for more. If you haven't started this series yet then get cracking, I can't wait to see where the story goes in the book #3!!!! less
