review 1: This was cute YA story with a friends to lovers with lots of geeky nerd moments in between. I was thrown off a little with the age thing since both Brandon and Abel seemed younger than the eighteen year age range but I still enjoyed watching them travel across the US. I like the theme going to conventions and trying to prove the pairing in their fandom was ridiculous even though they secretly kind of like it while off on the sideline fans of their vblog are shipping them. There were a lot of sweet awww moments and some where each of the characters grow some. I do think a sequel to this would be interesting to see where their relationship goes as they become more adult.
review 2: I honestly don't know how the author's done it (I think she's a closeted sorcer
... moreess), but this book is so believable that I actually went on google to see if Castaway Planet is a real TV series - to no avail. ANYWAY, this book is stunning with its witty characters and the entirely believable world of fanfiction, it really made me laugh out loud. I totally loved this book and can't wait to check out the author's next book. less

Great book. Very funny and entertaining spoof of fandom, as well as a really cute romance.

enjoyable, with some laugh out loud moments, but ultimately unsatisfying.
