IT WAS A ROVERMAN FESTIVAL OF PLAYS & SELFIES!

Years ago, in order to take a picture you would have to pose in front of a camera, and the photographer will take the pains of ‘moulding’ you (i.e getting you to sit in a particular position, tilting your head in a particular way, smiling in a particular way and holding your breath with a fake smile) till he took the picture, which showed up days after.

Then came digital cameras which made photography less cumbersome and pictures easier to access.

Then phone manufacturers started including cameras to their devices and the photography craze has increased to a new high; selfies.

The word ‘selfie’ has now found a home in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, this shows how worldwide this practice has become.

At every event, you are definitely bound to find people taking selfies to post on social media to show that “they were there some”.

Roverman’s Festival Of Plays was no exception.

Patrons had fun as they enjoyed the plays.

A large number of people were seen taking selfies after enjoying the plays.

Our cameras caught people taking pictures of themselves, take a look.
