review 1: This is a novel which deeply effected on me. I have read it million times and every time I do, I find something special and breathtaking over again. To be honest I am not a big fan of Salinjer ,but in this novel I found something that is so close to me ,to my thoughts about the people's feelings I'm surrounded. I'm not going to describe the content,or a favorite paragraph for me,because I want you to recognize truly unbearable problems yourself. I recommend this novel and advice you to read it many, many times.P.S Pay your attention even on the colors of the swimming suits, cause this is that kinda book.

... morerieve from the legacy of Holden Caulfield. Yet the main character Seymour Glass was essentially apart of that legacy of alien characters. 'Bananafish' is the perfect juxtaposition of the perfect innocence of childhood and the seriousness of adulthood, Seymour Glass is an outsider in the adult world and considered on the verge of maniacal frenzy. He simply cannot live like this. Salinger writes an excellent short story. less
