review 1: "No Time To Run" was my first experience with this author (Amazon Prime freebie) and, I must say, I was captivated from the outset. This particular novel took me longer to finish than normal, but it had nothing at all to do with the writing which, I thought, was excellent. The characters were generally believable and interesting with the possible exception of Kermit who was, for me, a little too wacky and outlandish to be a sidekick for a savvy attorney. The ending was a bit weird and goofy, but the overall plot had me engaged, puzzled, and intrigued until the end. I would definitely read another book by J. D. Trafford.
review 2: Have you ever kissed your date the first time you went out? Reading this story was like that, maybe you shouldn't have but you're gla
... mored you did. No Time was fun and interesting with tight characters, concise scenes, a couple of guns, lots of legal papers, one outlandish left-over hippy, airplane flights, jail, beaches, huts, cars, hoodlums, FBI Agents, law offices, lawyers, young lovers, kidnappings, fights, alcohol, drugs, wheelchair, sinister men and women, and best of all, an ending reminiscent of heaven. less

Intriguing, didn't want to put it down. Better than I had expected.
