review 1: I enjoyed reading this book to my young grandson and hearing him laugh and laugh. It was introduced to us as a part of our library's summer reading program. It is about a turtle who talks and raps very slowly and a are named Hop who talks and raps very fast. As you read the book, the instructions say that when Hip talks you read very slowly. When Hop talks you read very fast. It teaches young children that people are different but can still be friends. Loved the book and so did my six year-old grandson.

Hip (Turtle) and Hop (Rabbit) are friends upon first meeting, even though they come from opposite sides of Oldskool County, because they're both excellent rappers (but with different styles).
