review 1: October, 2014Liked that this was a quick familiar read, perfect to occupy me while I waited for my copy of Jen's latest book to arrive. As with the first one, I looked forward to my favourites.Would have liked some of the other quotes to have illustrations as they're all so good you just want more of them.So many favourite quotes that there wasn't the room to fit them all into my book journal!12th April, 2013As is traditional with Jen's books, picked up a copy from my local bookshop.Really enjoyed this, lots of new quotes that I've not read before.The pictures are good, like before I wish there were more.I liked the 'Weird Things Customers Say At Weird Things Customers Say In Bookshops Signings' bit.Hope there will be another one, I like having books by my friends on my bo... moreokcase.
review 2: I finished this at work today in a matter of hours. Like the first collection, this one did not disappoint. It's one of those books you pick up to make yourself feel better. I, myself, failed miserably trying to conceal my giggles and laughter over the crazy antics found in this book. It has everything that will tickle your funny bone from cute adorable innocent yet funny remarks from kids visiting bookshops to face-palm inquiries of certain customers to ridiculously stupid 'WTF'-inducing conversations between booksellers and batshit-crazy customers.Certainly something that will get you out of dark mood. I hope there'd be more books in this compilation series. I just can't get enough. less
