review 1: If not needed for a challenge with little timeframe to change I would have thrown this book against the wall in frustration! The storyline from the first three books in this series seen to circle the same drain. The first half it was repetition, repetition, repetition......the only bright star was the final 15% were the reveal/rescue occurred. If people can vouch for this series ill maybe continue otherwise all done!
review 2: Morgan is still carrying around Lugh. She still has huge trust issues and to top it all The king wants to set up court in this realm.With all this going on the book seemed a bit of a filler. There's a main plot that seems to be a vehicle to progress the story, the progress was small compared this side plot. None of the characters are part... moreicularly pleasing, apart from Dom and Brian, most are not particularly likeable and I quickly lost any compassion for them.I did though enjoy the first two books, so I may give the next book a go and see if it redeems the series. less
