review 1: I responded to a blog post about Another Saturday Night and I Ain't Got No Body (A Page Turners Novel, #1) by Jennie Marts and was lucky enough to receive a complimentary copy. This book was really fun to read. Although Sunny was the main protagonist, each of her friends in The Page Turners had her own strand and voice. I loved the tension between Sunny and Jake, the mysterious hottie who turns up next door at the same time her elderly neighbor disappears. Coincidence...???...and the Page Turners attempt to get Sunny back into dating are priceless. I would recommend this book to anyone hoping for a good laugh with a healthy dose of romance.
review 2: Loved...loved...loved this book. First let's hear it for the voluptuous woman....now for her crazy book club f... moreriends! Edna was my favorite character the nosy orney elderly lady with nothing better to do with her time. Reading this story shows for dates especially blind dates you should meet the guy in a public place and not allow him to pick you from your home. You never know who you could be allowing in. Nevertheless I felt like I was on these blind dates with her attempting to find Mr. Right only to discover he was right underneath her nose the entire time. Highly recommend it was easy to get lost in this book and allow Jennie to take me away! less
