review 1: 2.5/5 stars. There was nothing particularly wrong with this book (well, except for the contrived love triangle) but there was nothing particularly right about it for me, either. Like many other readers I guessed what Iris was early-on, then things dragged on as I waited for Lily to catch up to me. I think if the book had been faster-paced and the love triangle eliminated I would have enjoyed it more. (Provided by publisher)
review 2: ummm i have mixed feelings about this book.This book was okyasish i guess in that cliche way.The plot was too predictable i guess and certain things were too far stretched!The fact that the girl was too busy trying too play with two guys feelings rather than find the truth about her parents made the book a little too kiddish and he... morere though the author is trying too portray her mom as a concerned parent she comes off as a selfish woman.writing wise the book is really nicely written and certain emotions are beautifully expressed. less
