review 1: This story seemed very rushed, and I didn't like it. The switching between present and past tense irritated me -- on top of all the grammatical errors. This author clearly didn't proofread before submitting her story to be published on Smashwords. Also, a short story should have some closure. It read like a book excerpt (first two-three chapters, then cut). She might as well have just released the whole thing together.
review 2: This is first part in a series of short stories.. I really liked it.. Though there is one negative thing.. It doesn`t really work as a self standing book. For me this only worked as the first chapters in a book. Which it pretty much is.. But when I read short stories I want the little extra :P Since it is "a book" in a way.. Doesn`t kno... morew if that make sense xDI give this first part 4 out of 6 stars. Coz it was great entertainment.. Though you need to continue the series, before anything happens.. Coz so far we only have the beginning.. And not much happend. Untill the couple of last pages. :) So will without of doubt check out the rest one day ;) It has potential so far :P less
