review 1: This is a surprise step into a couple areas not always received well, but so tactfully presented that the taboos skimmed under the radar almost unnoticed. The first - adultery - which usually repulses some and titillates others, was handled so well it had me rooting for the offending partner. The second taboo is a big source of the mystery, so I can't even name it without creating a spoiler. It is a good mystery with a twist at the end that I sure didn't expect. Couldn't walk away from it; when I wasn't 'reading', I had the Bluetooth plugged into my ear so I could keep going. Gotta love that Kindle text-to-speech when I latch onto one I can't put down.

... moref books for busy people and/or reluctant readers. We still want the content, dialogue, characters, and plot, but not the length. We get all of that in the Sarah Woods series. Sarah is a fabulous character, real, feisty, and flawed. Many of the back-up characters are just as interesting. The dialogue is well written and the plots are terrific little nuggets for short fiction. You won't be sorry you picked up all three. less

Good plot and a fast moving read but it has too many typos which I find very distracting.

Nice light read. Wrapped up a little too quickly at the end.
