review 1: The first in a series one hopes. Georgia looses her job in an accounting scandal, then looses her fiancé and friends. So she moves back to one stable home from her past, Wenwood, NY and moves in with her grandfather until she can get her feet back under her and find her new direction. A murder occurs in town and Georgia's grandfather stands accused so Georgia starts looking in what's going on. Along way she discovers old friends and enemies and meets some new friends. The characters are likeable an believable. Of course the miscreant is brought o justice and her grandfather saved. I look forward to reading the next on he instalment. Hopefully there will be a bit more stain glass history and information.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book! A great st... moreart to the series. I really enjoyed McAndrews writing. Her books are ones I'll be keeping an eye out for. My favorite character was Friday - great name for a cat. The mystery had enough red herrings to keep you wondering. I enjoyed the fact that the police weren't clueless but competent, and yet still you had a good independent sleuth mystery. I'd recommend this book! less
