review 1: I am really sad to see the end of this series. I have really felt like part of the family. Astral and Jack are my absolute favourites with Bergman close behind (I noticed in this one he is wearing glasses again.. A book or two ago he got Lasik... I like him better with the glasses anyway!).We get to find out what happens to Cole and everything in the series is rounded out nicely. This book brought me to tears. It's just that good.I know he's supposed to be evil but blemuth actually sounds really cute and he's named Daisy and he just seems so sweet. Adorable.
review 2: I love the way this series ended though I'm not happy that it had to. I loved Jaz, Vayl, Cole and the rest of the gang. This is a series where each book is exciting as the last with non-stop act... moreion and even some hot sex. I'm going to miss joining Jaz and Vayl on their insane missions.After being attacked by one of this reincarnated sons, Vayl is determined to find his other son so off to Romania they go in search of the spirit of Vayl's long dead son. Jaz is finally going to enter Hell and get rid of the demon residing inside her head but as you know if you've been reading these books, nothing is ever as easy as it seems. I totally loved Ms. Rardin's imagination especially when she created the hell creatures. They are totally gross and vicious - perfect sparring partners for Jaz and Vayl. If you haven't read this series yet, and you love kick-ass heroines, ghosts and ghoulies, demons, vampires, witches and any other supernatural creature you can think of, you've been missing out. This is one of the most exciting series out there. less
