review 1: A waste of good money. I bought all four in the series and I can't recommend them to anyone, certainly not anyone who loves good stores with plots and characters, let alone grammar and punctuation. I'm an extremely fast reader and usually can't wait to keep picking up a book, but, my feet dragged every time. The writing is juvenile, told how a young girl might imagine adults to be. Who calls anyone "Dearest" in these times? As an avid reader of paranormal, I suspend my beliefs every time I open one because I don't really believe they exist, but these tell me to suspend it in human terms as well. Ill-conceived, poorly-written and full of holes a mile wide. Pass this whole series by; I only made it past the second one before deleting all four. The other two aren't worth the ... moretime to open them.
review 2: A very fun and lighthearted werewolf romance and I couldn't put it down! I fell in love with the world of the werewolves that Jennifer T. Alli created. There were a lot of rules to the supernatural society, but at the same time the characters weren't too brooding and moody as werewolves are often written. On the contrary, Alli's characters are positive, fun and ready to battle every problem that arises. I loved Tobias's inner dialogues with his wolf. The realtionship between Tobias and Alex was also very well written. Alex is softhearted, but not panicky or judgmental or fear-ridden as often happens with heroines in all romances. There was also plenty of action besides the romantic relationship so I liked the pacing. All in all, a really enjoyable read. less
