review 1: You Against Me is a very good book that will make you learn important things about life. Nothing is ever black or white, and this book will remind you of all the shades of gray in between. While this book is not a small and easy to read book for kids, it is in a way, a very fast book to read, as you will not be able to put it down. The characters are very loveable, and there is something very pleasant about how the story alternates from the boy and the girl's point of view. Alternate stories like this aren't always the best thing, in my opinion, but in this case, it serves the story and the book very well. Also, this book is very well written.A story of forbidden love, justice and contrasts, You Against Me by Jenny Downham is NOT a book you want to ... moremiss.
review 2: You against me was a very catchy book to read. The authors purpose for this book was to teach the reader to not make bad choices because you may make bad decisions with who ever you hang out with. In the story You Against Me Tom was accused of sexually abusing someone and he had to do time for it and the girls brother was waiting for him to get out to fight him and when he got out his family had a party for him and Mickey and his friends show up at his party as "his friends" when they really hate him for what he has done to his sister. Then when they get there they back out because there were to many people at the party and they were waiting for it to die down so they could do what they were suppose to do. This story was a description story. It was trying to get the readers to feel like they actually felt a lesson from this book. My opinion of the book was really good i really liked it i recomind it to anyone who likes reading and likes a little bit of crime and mystery. My favorite part was when they actually do what they were there to do because of what Tom did to the sister. This book reminds me of the book scarlet witch is also a very good book. I wouldn't change anything about this book it was a very good book and i liked it every part of the book was good. Its like allot of books i have read. less
