Good evening my friends,
I know it’s my second post today but I wanted to share a post for my September Wrap Up. I managed to read 6 books this month which is FANTASTIC! Two of these books were eBooks while the rest were physical paperbacks.
My wrap up included:
- King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard 4.5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Zarox by Louis Smith (ebook) 3/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Reverse by Shana Silver (eBook manuscript) 4/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Vicious by V. E. Schwab 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- The Enchanted by Rene Denfeld 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- The Heir by Kiera Cass 3.75 – 4 / 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Probably my favorite book was The Enchanted followed by Vicious and King’s Cage. I feel like I had a great reading month because I loved most of the books I read. As for Reverse, I read this book thanks to the amazing publishing community called Swoon Reads. I don’t want to divulge a lot of information about it as it will be published next year but I LOVED IT! It had an extremely smart female lead with a swoon worthy romance. I’m sure that I’ll give it a 5 star review once it’s edited and published. But honestly, you guys should keep it on your TBRs.
King’s Cage SHOCKED me! I wasn’t prepared for the ending and I need he last book in the series (like yesterday). Mare and Evangeline both had a huge personal development and I’m starting to root for Mare. Ughhh and I just wish she and Kilorn would just get together.
The Enchanted was an emotional read filled with magical realism elements. I posted my review in my Goodreads’s page. I also loved the morally grey characters of Vicious and would love to read what happens next, even if it works great as a standalone.
Zarox was given to me for review by the author and it was a fun middle grade book. I wish I enjoyed it more but I guess I’m just too old.
And lastly, the Heir which is the fourth book in the selection series. I am considering it as another series as it has a different main character / story line but I still enjoyed it. I did hate the main character first but there was some development in her character that I personally liked. Oh, and the romance elements were just *fans myself*
