review 1: I'd been watching this book since it came out - the cover is awesome. Am in love with the model. And with the hero too. He was just the right blend of alpha and beta. Heroine likeable and real. The sex is more erotic than euphemism. (My default genre is historical romance, which is often the other way around.) It's a sweet story. Sweet characters. No one overly wounded. And writing is good. A fun read.
review 2: I'm not usually one for contemporaries, never mind CEO stories, but as I enjoy Jenny Holiday's Trope Heroine twitter account, I figured I'd give Saving the CEO a change. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a quick, light read that made me laugh out loud multiple times and left me feeling good at the end. I especially appreciated that there was no uneven p... moreower dynamic between the two main characters, even though he is a wealthy real estate mogul and she's a poor student/bartender. He doesn't try to fix all her problems with his money, and she maintains her self-sufficiency. They come together as equals because they both need each other. All in all, a great debut! less
