review 1: This was really a delightful read. This is the author's first novel but she already has another one to be published in August. I actually know Jenny somewhat, met her when she was a teenager. Her mom taught seminary for Gary for a few years up in Hendersonville, NC. What a great family.Check out her blog at jennyproctor.com. I loved the family history aspect of this story. Great read. Hope you will check it out.
review 2: Kate grows up in the little town of Rose Creek but leaves and builds a successful life for herself. For one reason or another she does not go back. Her Aunt Mary who has raised her does keep in touch with her.Then tragedy strikes and Kate decides to go home. Some of the family are not to happy to see her. She plans to stay a very sh... moreort time, but events help her decide to move back. She does meet Andrew who is new to the town which helps with her decision to stay. She also finds a diary of an early family member which gives her strength and helps her believe in God. The book was O.K. less
