review 1: From the founders of the international health-care company Johnson & Johnson in the late 1800s to the contemporary Johnsons of today, such as billionaire New York Jets owner Robert Wood "Woody" Johnson IV, all is revealed in this unauthorized biography by Jerry Oppenheimer. Often compared to the Kennedy clan because of the tragedies and scandals that had befallen both wealthy and powerful families, Crazy Rich, based on scores of candid interviews, reveals how the dynasty's fortune was both intoxicating and toxic through the generations of a family that gave the world Band-Aids and Baby Oil, being termed the most dysfunctional family in the fortune 500. Divorces, suicides, drug overdoses, gay relationships, lesbians, bi-sexuals, ruthlessness, extra-marital affairs - you nam... moree it, it's in this book. Page turning to see what outrageous event is going to happen next.
review 2: I wanted to read this book as I have worked in New Brunswick, NJ forever and live close to the Johnson Mansion. The dynasty began with a small-town druggist, Robert Wood Johnson from New England, who with his brothers, co-founded Johnson & Johnson (J&J.) His son, Robert Wood "The General" Johnson II, (1893-1968) was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and turned the family business into one of the world's largest healthcare corporations which is still headquartered in New Brunswick. There is not much else to say about the family that the title doesn’t imply. I guess the moral of the book is that money really doesn’t buy happiness. less

This was the result of a Wikipedia hole. The more shocking thing is that I read the whole book.
