review 1: 3.75 starsI really enjoyed this book but the editors dropped the ball a few times and ignored obvious errors.Some basic things irked me.. how does orphaned ‘just before’ turning 13 + 7 years add up to 21st birthday.I'm also a bit pedantic about book covers. They should try to be close to the main characters descriptions..Sawyer has platinum hair,., and his twin brother also has platinum (except one has green eyes and one blue).. yet the cover of the book doesnt have a platinum blonde on it.. and the soon to be released sequel about Riley does..Even with the above, I enjoyed Kayan's Mage enough to pre-order the sequel
review 2: What to say?? I loved it!! I love this world. It seems when a book is bad you have so much to say about it but when a book is very g... moreood you can't seem to come up with enough to give a good telling of it. I will say read this if it's in your to be read list. I almost missed this gem because its an author I had not read before.I love Jake and Sawyer but Riley stole the show. I love sarcastic people and he was the best at it! I can't wait until book two!! He is going to give his mate a run for his money if the epilogue is anything to go by. I can't wait to read the sequel! less
