review 1: I guess I wanted more from this. Hot, muscled hockey player and a light-hearted girl that turns into something he craves. Instead I felt it was a clueless girl who acted just the same and why she turned him on still unclear. Also the quick back and fourths of the thought process were off and the writer switched from writing who was talking to initials. It made me feel like the writer got lazy just as in the writing.I hate giving not so great reviews because it takes so much for one to write and then even more to put it out there to critique so kuddos to the courage to do so. I just wanted sexy hot and steamy and felt like these were children playing tag. Also this did not leave me wanting to read what happens next in the following book. :-(
review 2: wow! it ha... mores been a while since i read some erotic romance. I am glad that i am back in the game. I have so many book to read on my kindle it is not funny lolthis was a very enjoyable read. it was only 40 pages, but was worth it!Emma is going thru a rough patch. She hasn't been romantic in a very long time and she is not happy in her current job teaching at a school. Her sister suggests that she move down their for the summer and try to think about what she wants to do with her lifewhile reconnecting with her sister she find out that she is not going to teach anymore. That wasn't her. She was going to go back to college and do hair! It was her dream. After Emma finished college they opened up their own salon! it was making tons of money and she couldn't be happier.that is until she met Micah. Micah is a professional hockey player. He is with a different girl every night and has no chance of changing. he was having a bad luck streak because after 17 years he is getting traded to a Maryland team. He refused to buy a house so he is living in a hotel. walking depressed he saw Emma in the salon and everything changed.this book has a lot of steamy romance and a start to a great connection! less
