review 1: The mob is a safe place if you’re firmly on the inside looking out. Rose was married to a mobster. She didn’t know that when he proposed or even when they solemnly took their matrimonial vows. The knowledge slowly grew and developed over a lengthy period of time. Once she knew, she was trapped with no hope of escape. One day, out of the blue, her husband announced that he was hiring a new driver. When Rose met this new chauffer she found him attractive but extremely quiet; almost timid. For the next few months he spent lots of time with her husband. When her husband returned home, bruised, beaten and battered, he returned alone. She could only imagine what had happened and she assumed that the tall, quiet driver was lying dead somewhere. You can imagine her surprise wh... moreen he came back; for her. This is a very short novella that richly deserves more words. With a little time and effort it could be a highly marketable novel. I give Jessi Bond three stars for effort. If she would concentrate more on quality and less on quantity her name would soon be better known and her books more widely read.
review 2: Inhalt:Rose ist die Frau eines Mafiabosses doch das Feuer ihrer Leidenschaft ist längst erstickt. Eines Tages stellt ihr Mann einen neuen Fahrer ein, den Rose sofort attraktiv findet. Allerdings reagiert dieser kaum auf ihre Bemühungen ihm ein Lächeln zu entlocken. Bei einem der illegalen Geschäfte ihres Mannes verschwindet der Fahrer plötzlich. Rose glaub ihn nie wieder zu sehen, bis eines Tages in ihr Haus eingebrochen wird und sie gekidnappt wird – von eben diesem Fahrer.Meinung:Die Handlung macht relativ wenig Sinn auf diesen wenigen Seiten. Alles wirkt überstürzt und wird nicht richtig stimmig erklärt. Die erotischen Szenen kommen völlig aus dem nichts und die Charaktere sind nichtssagend. Die erotischen Szenen an sich sind auch eher mittelmäßig.Bewertung2 von 5 Sternen less
