review 1: 10/10: It was a bit sad at the beginning then it starts to cheer u up. I made it to page 11. The sad part that is sad is when "Charm knocked over so cones lined up next to the arena one wen't in the arena in-front of a big Thoroughbred gelding and he reared up and his rider fell off and she didn't move". I connect to this quote because i was ridding my big Morgan gelding and we were jumping and i fell off and broke my arm.10/10 (after school):I made it to chapter ten and its getting better because this girl moves ridding schools and she starts going to Canterwood And she make some new friends and sees a guy that she sorta likes.. I can relate to this because there is a guy i see ALL the time and i kinda like him but we don't talk to each other much.10/25: Its got allot whe... morere heather is being mean to Sasha and heather almost hurt charm Sasha's horse. I am on page 79 now but its a really cool book, she is starting to fit in but heather is bulling her so it makes it hard for her to focus.10/31: Sasha found out that she has a crush on Jacob and he is in her film class. i am now on page 94. She finds out Jacob like cheeseburgers because "You Don't have a cheeseburger-scented one do you?" I relate to this because I ware cherry, blue raspberry, and strawberry chap stick.11/14: I have read about Sasha's first horse show with Canterwood and i can't wait to find out about it and am very exited about it. I ended on page 114. As their are waiting to load the horses in the trailer Heather has a problem with her horse Aristocrat being on the right side. I connect with this quote because my horse does not like travailing on the right side.11/21: Sasha goes to a State competition.... and she ends up placing second.. which isn't bad but to be honest it better than the one after. I got to page 140 and half way through it. "He skyrocketed over the fourth jump and he cleared it." i connected with this because i did jumping with my 16 year old Morgan-paint gelding and he did the same but he made all of his moves graceful.
review 2: Take the reins was a fun filled realistic story. It was about a girl going to a horse school. There was lots of thinks that I likes about the book. Number one it was about horses and I have a horse and I love horses. There was also some romance in the story and I am a teenage girl. So I love reading books about romance. It was also a very competitive book and I am very competitive. There is also more books in the series that are very good. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes competition horses or romance. It was an awesome book. less
