review 1: I read an article in Vanity Fair about the Sultan of Brunei and his recent imposition of Sharia Law in his country. This book, or something similar, was referenced. This was an interesting read, and I realize I've lived such a sheltered life (thank the Good Lord). Very sad tale of a young girl seeking to find herself.
