review 1: I really liked this, but the writing style will not appeal to everyone. The tone is a bit snarky, which I thought was hilarious, but it also serves to hide expression of real emotion (kind of like when people make jokes about something instead of sharing their true feelings). But the language is crisp and sharp, and while I appreciated the exploration of how one small event can have a huge domino effect, I laughed the whole way through.
review 2: The preview of this book hooked me. It promised quirky and to be about someone not 12. Jincy delivered all around. Beautiful language--read about her drowning experience when she was 18! or organizing her books with Ricky! It was enchanting to watch Amy blossom--just the way my morning glory blossoms do each morning. I
... more know, though, that Amy will not fold each night as they do. "We have work to do", she says near the end to Alphonse. And so do I, Amy and Jincy. Thanks awfully for the boost! less

Good audiobook. A mildly entertaining and pleasant story. No complaints but no raves either.

Didn't finish. Just not my thing. Good, humorous writing though!
