review 1: This book was a bit different from the other one. But it’s as good as the previous one. Colt and Jo get to know each other better than in the first book. As fighters, friends AND as lovers. I think it’s great how JJ Knight let us know how Jo her life was and is. I know there are a lot of differences between Colt and Jo but I think this is kind of like an opposites attracted kind of thing. Even though they both love fighting… I’m not going to spoil too much but I wanted to tell you that things go to another level in their romantic relationship and I think it was perfect between them. The ending is a cliffhanger but that didn’t make me love the book any less. The song that made me think of this book was ‘One more night’ by Maroon 5. review 2: Holy hell! I stumbled upon this gem of a series and have now read the first two books in a couple of hours. While the first one was ok, this one is is the gripper! Just have your credit card ready because you WILL be buying the rest of the series! I am holding on to the fact that Colt isn't like what we are led to believe in this humdinger of a cliffy ending! I love this story line and hope it continues on this great journey!!! less
